FOSTV CHALLENGE # 35

Another Monday, another new challenge! This week at FOSTV we are challenging you to make a card representing what Labor Day means to you. For me, that means kicking back & doing virtually NOTHING. Especially this year since I will be recouperating from the family reunion on the 1st that I have spent 2 years planning & getting ready for. Who knew that potato sacks for races would be so hard to find in a town with 6 feed & farm stores?

Anyway--just picture me sitting in the chair under the big ole maple tree in the back yard!!

 

 

I used the ADIRONDACK SUMMMER MINI STAMP SET for the image & sentiment.

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE #122

Mornin' all!! It's been another busy week around here & after making 50 baby shower invites, I was more than ready to just kick back & have some fun. So, I grabbed a new MFPaHC stamp set, some ink, some luscious fall colored card stock, some richly colored DSP & went to work!

This weeks challenge at MFPaHC is to use a fold other than the normal "fold it in half" type.
I chose to use the GATE FOLD because it's what popped into my head after I picked my stamp set.

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE #121

What a week this has been! I've had a bazillion appoitments, spent a couple of days with the great grandbaby & worked today trying to clean up the mess from last nights storm. I had tree limbs & branches on my porch, in my pond, stuck in the arbor & all over the yard. And I don't even have a tree!!!

Anyway, this weeks challenge at MARK'S FINEST PAPERS  is all about friendship. I have a friend that needs to know that she is being thought of, so I made a card for her in her favorite colors.

Another Saturday, another SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS challenge!! This week we are using DOTS.

I'm getting mine posted a tad late this week. Had a lil hiccup, but we all know that things can't run perfectly smooth all of the time.

Here is my card for the week.

FOSTV CHALLENGE #32

It's Monday!!! And you know what that means. We have a new challenge for you over at FOSTV. This week we are using chalks.

Now, chalks are not my go to medium for adding color to a poject. I do, however, like a good challenge. And once I get past the initial hesitation of digging them out from the back of the shelf, I really rather enjoyed using them. I opted for a tray of chalks rather than the pencils this time and I used a blender pen to apply them.


Please excuse the picture quality. My chalks were pearlescent & I had a hard time controlling the glare. So, to give you a good look at the chalked image, you can't really tell that my layer is embossed.
