SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE #131

Happy Saturday everyone!!! Glad that you could join us for another great challenge at Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Company.
This week, it's all about pumpkins. Big ones, little ones, tall ones, short ones, carved ones, painted ones--just any ole kind of pumpkin. Which, by the way, happens to be one thing that there is no shortage of around here. I kind of concentrated on the hay, corn stalks & pumpkins this year rather than the ghouls ghosts & goblins. I was afraid of scaring the little one. ( after all, I DID manage to scare his mother last year)

So, here is my card for the week.

FOSTV CHALLENGE #43

It's Monday!! And that means that there is another great challenge posted over at FOSTV. This week it is all about HALLOWEEN & HARVEST TIME. It's all up to you. Pick a theme, grab your your supplies & have some fun!

Here is what I came up with.

 

 

For me, this time of year is all about the pumpkins, ghouls & goblins.

What I used:

AUTUMN SPLENDOR was used for the image (which was masked & stamped 2 more times) & the sentiment

card stock & G45 dsp from my stash
twine & a button

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE #130

Welcome to my blog! I am so glad that you decided to stop by & take a closer look at what I created for this weeks challenge. MARK'S FINEST PAPER a HEINRICH COMPANY has a great challenge for us this week. LEAVES. Absolutely perfect for this time of the year. And I'm sure that you would agree that designing with leaves is much better than having to rake them!

I switched it up a bit this time & did something a little different. SCRAPBOOK PAGES. Yep, I did. Now, I will be honest & tell you all that I do NOT consider myself a scrapbooker. The only scrapbook that I own is one that my sister made for me after our mother passed away. (Gotta give her TONS of credit--she made 3 of them)
I did have some inspiration to do these pages, tho. I'll show you that in a minute. But it worked out great because FOSTV has added a SCRAPBOOK PAGE GALLERY & CHAT ROOM!!!

 

 

I will add my pictures after I decide which ones I want to use & get them printed.

 

 

I kept telling Hunter that I was going to dress him up like a lil farmer & throw him in a gunny sack, but he didn't believe me.

FOSTV CHALLENGE #41

FOSTV has another great challenge for you try this week! DISTRESSING. Personally, I LOVE the distressed look. Tattered, inky or torn. Doesn't matter to me. I am just so NOT the cutesy, CAS kind of gal & find those type of cards quite challenging.

For this card, I chose to use a distressing tool & rough things up a bit.

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE #128

Wow! I think that we skipped fall & went straight to winter! At least it feels that way to me. If I have to wear more than a sweatshrit or jacket, then its just too cold!

Anyway, being cold helped me dicide what to do for my card for this weeks challenge at MFPaHC . This weeks challenge is an interesting one. You need to follow the RECIPE. Since I use dies a lot, I opted for using punches this time.

2 EMBOSSING FOLDERS
3 PUNCHES or DIES

Yep! It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!!

FOSTV CHALLENGE #40

If I'm posting a new challenge for FOSTV, it must be Monday! And just what do you think we are up to this week? Well, we're using CHIPBOARD.

Now, I thought about this one a lot before I set about getting it done. Flowers? NO. Words? NO. A flourish or 2? NO. Nothing was really smacking me in the face until my other half pulled into the driveway with the trailer loaded with hay bales & corn stalks. Then it hit me & I made a mad dash to my embellishment boxes. I knew what I wanted was there, but exactly where... hmmmmm.....yeah, almost 1 hour later I found it. Perfect! Especially considering the fact that I had already hit the pumpkin stand on the corner & hauled home 27 pumpkins. (I know, I know! But I never do anything in a small way) So, here is my card using CHIPBOARD.
