SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE # 153

Boy! This month is coming quickly to an end. March may run out of days, but MPFaHC is not running out of challenges. This weeks challenge is a little unique. Your card must have an "A" on it or the stamp set that you use must start with an "A" or your sentiment must have "A's" in it. Confused yet? HaHa!! Tricky, aren't they?

Well, as soon as I saw what the challenge was, I knew what I was going to do.

Welcome!! Did everyone enjoy the March blog hop for the new releases? I sure hope so!! But, now it is time for a new challenge over at Mark's Finest Papers a Heinrich Company.

This week is all about BUNNIES!! Or EASTER. My project this time covers both.

My granddaughter-in-law teaches kindergarten & I usually take care of the holiday treats for her. Her plate is pretty full most of the time. So, I did 24 of these
little baskets of goodies.

.

 

They are filled with Kit Kats, Twix, Reese's peanut butter eggs & chocolate rabbits!! And I threw in a little grass just for fun.

I wish that I was better at taking pictures!! It's really hard to see that I used the ear of corn stamp to create a background.

 

FOSTV CHALLENGE #64

Thanks for stopping by & taking a closer look at this weeks challenge card for FOSTV!! This one could get really interesting because there are so many ways to go about it. Something on your card must MOVE. Spin, rotate, slide, flip--it's all up to you.

  I chose to hinge mine so the top opens up to reveal the sentiment.

The sentiment is from HUM ALONG
The dp is from Pink Paislee & has been sponged with TH distress inks in Antique Linen & Worn Lipstick
The flower that I used to create the hinge is from Tim Holtz & I added the color by dabbing on paint with my finger
I used a MS punch for the border

FOSTV CHALLENGE #63

Are you ready to hunt for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow? Or kiss the Blarney Stone?  Well, you better be! This weeks challenge from FOSTV is to create a card for ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!

LOTS OF LUCK from the February release was used for the image & sentiment
It was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink & colored with Copics
The edges were sponged with TH Shabby Shutters distress ink
The glitter paper is by Best Creations (doesn't shed glitter!!! not one speck!!)

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE #150

Another Saturday, another great challenge from MFPaHC!!

This week is a really fun one! We challenge you to make a card that is neither rectangle nor square. Any other shape will do. My favorite shape to use is OVAL, but since I have done a few of those recently, I switched it up a bit & went ROUND. I also kept this one fairly CAS. (I made it for a friend & wanted to be able to mail it without much trouble.)

WOW! Can you believe that it is March already? For me, that means that SPRING is right around the corner & it won't be long until all of the JOYous wonders that have been laying dormant will begin to unFOLD their majestic beauty . That thought was the inspiration for my card for this weeks challenge MFPaHC.
