SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE 109

Welcome to another Saturday morning challenge!! We chose to heat things up a little bit this week. Yep--get out your embossing powders & heat guns! Please excuse the quality of my picture this week. I LOVE the look that this gives a card but it makes getting a good picture a little difficult. You have to catch it at just the right angle to avoid the dreaded "glow" & evidently I am "angle challenged" this week. 22 pictures & I gave up.

I used MARK'S FINEST PAPERS recent release OOPSY DAISY this week. The image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink & was colored with COPICS. I then coated the entire image with Versamark & embossed it with Iridescent Sparkle by JudiKins. I hope that you find the time this week to play along. You can join us right here.

I had a little time to play today, so I decided to take on my very first MOJO Monday challenge. (yeah, I know, I know!) Anyway, here's my take on MOJO242

Jumping in feet first!

Being new to the Marks Finest Paper, a Heinrich Company's blog challenge team AND the Rubberstampchat forum, I jumped in feet first & joined a swap. I thought that it would be a great way to get acquainted. The swap was for ATCs with red flowers. This is what I came up with.

I used Spellbinder's ROSE CREATIONS die set to make the red rose.

Another Saturday, another challenge! With Mother's Day out of the way, it's time to think about the FATHERS. I chose to use the FATHER TIME mini set. I left the front of the card fairly clean & simple & let the inside of the card tell the story.

SPEEDY FOX & FRIENDS CHALLENGE 107

It's Saturday! That means that it is time for a new challenge. This week was a real challenge for me. CHALKS. Something I very rarely ever use. I chose MFP's IT'S A COWBOY THING to play with. You can play along by joining us here.

My finished card size is 4.5 x 4.5. I distressed the edges of my layers with a TH distressing tool. I used pastel chalk pencils to color my image.

I am so pleased to be joining The Speedy Fox and Friends Blog Challenge Team this week. Our challenge for this week was to use 3 of something. I chose to use the mini set FATHER TIME and added 3 gears to jazz it up a bit.
